Personality Disorders
Group of disorders characterized by enduring inner experience or behaving patterns that differ from person’s cultural norms/expectations, are pervasive/inflexible, begin in adolescence/early adulthood, and cause significant distress or impairment
Antisocial Personality Disorder
Personality disorder where person exhibits lack of conscience for wrongdoing, even toward friends and family members; may be aggressive/ruthless or a clever con artist
Dissociative Disorders
Characterized by a disruption of or incoherence in the normal integration of consciousness, memory, identity, emotion, perception, body representation, motor control, and behavior that causes impairment
Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID)
Rare dissociative disorder in which a person exhibits two or more distinct and alternating identities
Sociopath
Can still feel a bit of emotion (narcissistic)
Psychopath
No emotions
