What is a contradiction?
A disagreement between 2 statements, which means both cannot be true
Describe how to prove a statement by contradiction.
Start by assuming the statement is not true
Use logical steps to prove that this assumption leads to something impossible
Conclude that the assumption is incorrect and the original statement is true
