what are the bill of rights?

These rights are designed to ensure patients are treated as partners in their own care and that they understand their responsibilities.
what are some Bill of Rights that apply to RTs?
pt has the right to know the identity of those involved with their care, as well as students
pt has a right to make decisions of their plan or care prior to & during course of tx & to refuse recommended tx
right to an advance directive → living will, healthcare proxy, durable power of attorney for healthcare
right for consideration or privacy (case discussion, consultation, examination, tx)
communication & records are confidential (except abuse, health hazards)
pt can review their records pertaining to their medical care; can have info explained or interpreted as necessary
reasonable continuity of care
is a pt allowed to know of business relationships among hospitals, educational institutions, or other healthcare providers, or payers?
yes → for things that can influence tx & care
