Cells
The basic unit of life which is the smallest
Nucleus
Part of a cell that contains DNA
During photosynthesis what is the products and what is the source?
Products - Oxygen and glucose
Source - sunlight and carbon dioxide.
Organelles
Specialized structures within a cell that perform distinct functions.
Does bacteria have organelles or not?
Bacteria do not have membrane-bound organelles like eukaryotic cells. They have ribosomes and other structures that perform similar functions.
Phototropism
Plants bend toward a source of light on account
Invertebrate
Animal that does not have backbones
Vertebrate
Animal with backbone
Omnivore
Plant and meat based animal
Endoskeleton
Strong bone from the inside of the body
Exoskeleton
Outside the body
Spinal Cord
Nerve tissue run from brainstem down to the back use to communicate of the central nervous system by signaling between brain and the rest of the body
Marrow
A soft tissue inside the bone that produces red and white blood cells and platelets
Cartilage
A flexible bone that supports cushioning and smooth surfaces in joints or forming structures
Ligaments
A fibrous bands of connective tissue that connects bone to bone allowing movement
Vertebrae
A type of bone which stack up to form the columns of the back bone providing support, flexibility and protecting the delicate spinal cord
Strain
A stretch or tear of a muscle
Capillaries
The smallest blood vessels
Vessel
A container usually holds liquid
Bruise result to
Broken Capillaries
Digestive system
Break down food in human body
Respiration
Breathing process that takes in the oxygen and bring out the carbon dioxide
Digestion
Breaking down food either by chewing or chemically(acid) to absorb the nutritional
Mechanical decomposition
Breaking of material like tissue in our body into small pieces in a physical way
Decomposition - breaking down
Peristalsis
The rhythm of how our body squeeze like in organ to move contents(such as food) forward
Nervous System
The center of how our brain control and communicate with our body
Nephrons
Kidney’s filtering unit to clean blood or balance electrolytes using filtering as a main thing
Urethra
A tube which transports urine from the bladder out of the body
Bladder
The hallow muscular organ that use to store urine until its full
Antigens
Like a part that use to detect the stuffs that can be result in a negative way to the body like virus, bacteria, or chemical
T Cells
A white blood cell which is a core body’s adaptive system
Cilia
A small type of hair that locate in the breathing system to bring out the dust or anything that might harm our body and it can be destroyed by smoking and will lead up to lung cancer
Hypothalamus
A brain system acting as a body central control’s system that also linked to the nervous system. Focus more on hunger, sleep, or moods.
Pons
Located in the middle of the brain to control unconscious system like sleep cycle or breathing
Cortex
Outer layer of an organ, a brain which controls thoughts, memory, or language
Lymph nodes
A small bean shape immune system which traps the bacteria, germ, or cancer cells
Immune
มีภูมิคุ้มกันS
Spleen
Fist-sized organ in the upper left abdominal quadrant and acting up as a filter that removes old or blood cells to remove infection
