cultural diffusion

the spreading of ideas or products from one culture to another.

corroboration

the act of comparing pieces of evidence to see where they agree and disagree.

political

relating to the government or actions of the government.

primary source

created by someone in the time being studied. A witness to or participant in the event.

secondary source

a source created after the period or event. the author used primary sources to research the event.

reliability

the usefulness of a source for a given purpose, it is trustworthy.

economic

relating to money and how it’s made and used.

close reading

the act of reviewing a source to identify the author’s claims or point of view and how they are making it.
