Is it possible to connect to independent clauses with a comma

Yes, only when using FANBOYS otherwise it’s not correct

Independent clause

A sentence that has a subject and object, it can stand alone (WHEN CONNECTING TWO only a semicolon or (fanboys) + comma

Dependent clause

A sentence that needs context to make sense. To test if a sentence is dependent, see if it would make sense if you said it by itself. MUST be connected to an independent clause with a comma.
