A noun that forms its plural by following predictable and consistent rules, primarily by adding "-s" or "-es" to the singular form.

Base Rule (Regular Plurals)
Generally, add "-s" to the end of the singular noun to make it plural.
Plural Rule: Ends in -s, -ss, -sh, -ch, -x, -z
Add "-es" to the end of the singular noun.
Plural Rule: Consonant + -y
Change the "-y" to "-ies".
Plural Rule: Vowel + -y
Add "-s" to the end of the singular noun.
Plural Rule: Ends in -f or -fe (Common Change)
Change the "-f" or "-fe" to "-ves".
Plural Rule: -o preceded by a consonant (Common)
