-between Harald Hardrada and Edwin and morcar.

-because Harald aim was to take the throne from Harold Godwinson.

OUTCOME: Harald Hardrada won the battle and captured the city york and camped his army 15 miles south of Stamford bridge

25th september 1066

-between Harald Hardrada and Harold Godwinson [KING OF ENGLAND]

-because Harald Hardrada wanted to take the throne and Harold Gowwinson has heard about the deafeat of Edwin and Morcar

OUTCOME: Harold Godwinson won the battle and Harald Hardrada and Tostig were killed while the rest of there army fled England

14th September 1066

-between Harold Godwinson [KING OF ENGLAND] and William of Normandy

-because William of Normandy wanted the throne of England to himself

OUTCOME: William was losing the battle so he decided to do a feigned retreat allowing Harold’s army to follow William but by doing this it led William breaking the army’s defensive wall and kill Harold Godwinson. Allowing William to be king of England!

WILLIAM WAS CROWNED KING OF THE 25TH OF DECEMBER 1066!!!
