Affect

Non-conscious, unnamed feelings; stimuli one experiences; full of potential.

Emotion

Named feelings; an expression of feelings. Shaped by culture, experiences, and emotional habitus.

Emotional Habitus

Prescribes the names of emotions, social actions pertaining to these emotions, what's appropriate, what's known.

Emotive

Describes emotions.

Emotional Materiality

How emotions “stick” to objects, how they circulate, and these actions’ consequences to their communities.

Affective Economy

Emotions stick to and circulate with bodies and objects, sticking individuals, meanings, and subjects together too in the process.

Affective Fields

Webs of emotionally evocative relationships amongst objects, things, and places
