Newton’s first law
An object in motion stays in motion, unless an external force acts upon it
Newton’s second law
When a force acts on an object, it will cause the object to accelerate(f=ma)
Newtons third law
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction
Example for newtons first law
A ball sitting on a table isn’t going to move unless a force acts upon it
Example for newtons second law
If a ball is rolled up a hill, the force of gravity acts upon it in the opposite direction of motion a.k.a. negative acceleration
Example for newtons third law
When you’re standing, you’re pushing down on the earth with the same force, it’s pushing on you
