Glomerular Filtration
The process where fluid and dissolved substances move from the blood in the glomerulus into the glomerular capsule.
Tubular Reabsorption
The process by which useful substances move from the nephron tubule back into the peritubular capillaries to return to the blood.
Tubular Secretion
The process in which waste or excess substances move from the peritubular capillaries into the nephron tubule to be removed.
Concentration of Urine
The process of reabsorbing water to make the urine more concentrated before it leaves the nephron.
