What is sexual abstinance and what does it include
voluntarily refraining from intimate sexual behavior which could lead to unintended pregnany or disease. It includes oral, anal, or vaginal sex.
Consequences of early sexual behavior
STI, pregnancy, increased risk for cervical cancer (HPV), increase possibility of stress in relationship, additional emotional attachment, feelings of regret, preventing a healthy relationship from forming, and social/psychological issues.
Skills to have good communication
set personal limits and express those to the other person, communicate your needs and dislikes, be confident in your decision, say no firmly, make sure your body language is assertive.

lasts 5-10 years, hormonal, put inside womb. copper one can be used as emergency contraception (has to be used before 120 hrs after unprotective sex). more invasive than most hormonal.
Steralization
Tubal ligation/Vasectomy, procedure.
spermicide
can be used with condoms or put into vagina, chemicals that kiill sperm.
Sponge
Prior to sex, left in for 6 hours. Put into vagina and kills sperm by releasing spermicide.
Morning After Pill
Can be used up to 5 days after unprotected sex. Sooner it is taken, increases effectiveness.
Opill
First OTC birth control pill
