All my strengths are considered relationship building and executing strengths, this applies to the social work program as it means that I am able to build relationships with others and in turn means that I can build trust and rapor with clients easier as well as have good communication with my professors and students in the social work program

what are your personal values?

My personal values above all else are to help others that need it. I see so many things in this world that need fixed or improved upon and I feel the need to be a part of the solution by helping those impacted. I have a strong sense of justice because of this. Integrity is one of my personal values as I place high value on honesty and above all else doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.

I want to work in an organization that helps those who have experienced domestic violence. It is my strong belief that nobody deserves to experience fear in the home and I feel inclined to help those who have experienced it due to

Why social work?

I have always wanted to help others, even when I was a kid and I wasn't even aware of what exactly social work was. When I first started college I didn't know what I wanted to do but I found that social work aligned closest with my values and is something that I resonate with.

I am a mandated reporter so everything you say here today will stay here except for three expectations to this rule. If vulnerable adults or children, which is anyone over the age of 65, or anyone under the age of 18 are being abused or neglected I am mandated to report it. If I am given a subpoena by the courts and am ordered to testify I will have to give them the information they requested and lastly, if you disclose plans of homicide or suicide I will have to report it.
