Urinary incontinence
The involuntary loss of urine due to inability to control the bladder.
Urinary tract infection (UTI)
An infection that can occur in the urethra, bladder, ureter, or kidneys.
Voiding (urination/micturition)
Another term for emptying the bladder of urine.
Kidneys
Bean-shaped organs located slightly above the waist that filter blood, remove waste, and produce urine.
Ureters
Two narrow tubes that carry urine from the kidneys to the urinary bladder.
Urinary bladder
A muscular sac that stores urine until it is excreted from the body.
