• Shape = A truncated cone made of fabric

• Need to be visible from aircraft inflight or on the movement area

• Clearly visible and understandable from a height of at least 300m

• If 2 colours = orange-white, red-white, black-white

• Need to have 5 alternate bands (first and last band must be darker colour)

• Each band is about 3 knots

• Located in a conspicuous place on the aerodrome

• In the form of a “T”

• Shall be either white or orange
