visceral senses

provide info about internal organs (hunger, pain, pressure; lungs, heart, stomach), liver doesn’t have sensory organs, cannot pinpoint pain, involuntary 

somatic senses

provides info from skeletal muscles, bones, joints, tendon, and skin = pressure, pain, temp. , chem change, can pinpoint pain, voluntary

special 6 senses

relay info through somatic NS, requires specialized organ → sight (only one that doesn’t use somatic NS), hearing, taste, smell, equilibrium, touch
