Tu aimes habiter dans ta maison?

Do you like living in your house?

Oui, j’adore habiter dans ma maison parce que elle est vraiment confortable mais quelquefois elle est un peu froid. Ma maison a une grande jardin qui est bon pour quand je veux pratiquer de la gymnastique dans l’éte quand le temps est bon. Pendant les mois de plus froids, j’aime rester dans ma chambre. Ma chambre a un lit, aussi bien que un bureau bois où je fais mes devoirs. C’est très utile.

Yes, I like living in my house because it is really comfortable but sometimes it is a bit cold. My house has a big garden which is good for when I want to practice wmy gymnastics in the summer when the weather is good. During the colder months, I like to stay in my room. My room has a bed as well as a wooden desk where I do my homework. It’s very useful.

Qu’est-ce que tu as fait recemment pour aider a la maison?

What have you done recently to help at home?

Récemment, j’ai fait de la lessive pour aider mes parents puisque ils travaillent très durs. J’aime faire quelques les tâches ménagères, mais je ne ferais jamais la vaiselle - c’est trop dégôutant!

Recently, I did the laundry to help my parents since they work very hard. I like to do some chores, but I would never do the dishes - it’s too disgusting!

Comment serait ta maison ideale?

What would your ideal house be like?

Ma maison idéale serait trés, trés grande et traditionelle. Je voudrais habiter à la campagne, mais toujours près de mes parents. Ma maison idéale aurait une énorme jardin avec beaucoup de belle fleurs. Dans ma jardin, j’adorerais une piscine aussi pour mes amis et moi.

My ideal house would be very, very big and traditional. I would like to live in the countryside but still near my parents. My ideal house would have a huge garden with lots of beautiful flowers. In my garden, I would love to have a pool also for my friends and I.

Parle-moi un peu de ta ville.

Tell me a bit about your town.

J’habite à Whickham, qui est une village près de Newcastle dans le nord-est d’Angleterre. À Whickham, il y a quelques magasins et beaucoup de restaurants italienne qui est bon parce que ma nourriture préférée est la pizza.

I live in Whickham, which is a village near Newcastle in the north east of England. In Whickham, there is a few shops and lots of italian restaurants which is good because my favourite food is pizza.

Quels sont les avantages et inconvenients de ta ville?

What are the advantages and disadvantages of your town?

La meilleure chose à propos de Newcastle est la centre-ville. Il y a beaucoup de magasins, les restaurants et d’attractions touristiques comme les musées alors il y a quelque chose pour tout le monde et c’est un génial endroit aller avec ton amis. Il y a aussi un stade de foot qui s’appelle St James’ Park où mon equipe préférée jouer. Cependant, il y a beaucoup des SDF qui n’ai pas de choix mais dormir dans la rue. Ça me rend triste alors j’aide quand je peux.

The best thing about Newcastle is the town center. There is lots of shops, restaurants and tourist attractions like museums so there is something for everyone and it’s a great place to go with your friends. There is also a football stadium called St James’ Park where my favourite team play. However, there is lots of homeless people who have no choice but to sleep on the street. It makes me sad so I help when I can.

Qu’est-ce que tu vas faire en ville le weekend prochain?

What are you going to do in town next weekend?

Le weekend prochain, je vais aller au cinema avec mes amis pour regarder un noveau film. C’est un film comique alors ce sera vraiment amusant. Après ça, je vais manger chez McDo.

Next weekend. I am going to go to the cinema with my friends to watch a new movie. It is a comedy film so it will be really fun. After that, I am going to eat at McDonald’s.

Qu’est-ce que qu’il y a pour les touristes dans ta region?

What is there for tourists in your region?

Il y a en beaucoup por les touristes. On peut visiter les musee, comme Beamish par example, qui ma mère et ma sœur adore mais je le trouve un peu ennuyeux, ou on peut visiter aller au bord de la mer et faire une promenade sur la plage.

There is a lot for tourists. You can visit the museums, like Beamish for example, which my mum and sister love but I find a bit boring, or you can visit the seaside and go for a walk on the beach.

Qu’est-ce que tu as fait dans la region la semaine derniere?

What did you do in your region last weekend?

Le semaine derniere, j’ai visité ma grand-mère qui vit au bord de la mer avec ma famille et mon chien qui s’appelle Simba. J’adore mon chien car il est très mingons. Après avoir visité ma grand-mère, j’ai promené mon chien sur la plage et j’ai acheté un glace parce que il faisait beau. C’etait delicieux!

Last week, I visited my grandmother who lives by the beach with my family and my dog, who is called Simba. I love my dog because he is very cute. After having visited my grandma, I walked my dog on the beach and I bought an ice-cream because the weather was nice. It was delicious!

Ou vas-tu en vacances normalement? Pourquoi?

Where do you normally go on holiday? Why?

Normalement, je vais un pays chaud et soileil, comme l’Éspagne par example, parce que j’aime bronzer à côté de la piscine. J’adore visiter les magasins des locales et acheter les souvenirs quand je suis là. La nourriture est toujours bon aussi.

Normally, I go to a hot and sunny country, like Spain for example, because I like to tan next to the pool. I love to visit the local shops and by souvenirs when I am there. The food is always good also.

Quelle sorte de logement preferes-tu? Pourquoi?

What sort of accomodation do you prefer? Why?

Personnellement, je préfère rester dans un hôtel car ils ont un piscine normalement et je n’aime pas aller à la plage. Je déteste rester dans un camping parce qu’il pleut souvent alors c’est ne pas mon truc.

Personally, I prefer staying in a hotel because they have a pool normally and I don’t like going to the beach. I hate staying on a campsite because it rains often so it’s not my thing.

Comment serait tes vacances de reve? Pourquoi?
What would your dream holiday be? Why?

Pour mes vacances de reve, j’irais aux États-Unis avec ma famille. Je voyagerais en jet privé et je resterais dans un hôtel de cinq étoiles. Je visiterais beaucoup de parc d’attractions. Ce serait formidable!

For my dream holiday, I would go to the United States with my family. I would travel by private jet and stay in a five star hotel. I would visit lots of amusement parks. It would be amazing!

Ou es-tu alle en vacances l’annee derneire et qu’est-ce que tu as fait?

Where did you go on holiday last year and what did you do?

L’annee derniere, j’ai voyagé à Paris avec ma famille. Ça n’a pas bien commencé car le vol était en retard. Cependent, le reste des vacances était fabuleux! Nous avons resté pour une semaine dans un appartemente avec une belle vue de la Tour Eiffel. J’ai vu beaucoup de attractions touristes comme la Joconde et l’Arc de Triumphe. Puis, le dèrniere nuit, j’ai fait du shopping et j’ai acheté beaucoup de nouveau vetements. C’etait incroyable et j’adorais retourner à l’avenir.

Last year, I visited Paris with my family. It did not have a good start because our flight was delayed. However, the rest of the holiday was fabulous! We stayed for a week in an apartment with a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. I saw lots of tourist attractions like the Mona Lisa and the Arc de Triumphe. Then, on the final day, I went shopping and I bought lots of new clothes. It was incredible and I would love to return in the future.

Ou vas-tu aller en vacances cette annee? Avec qui? Qu’est-ce que tu vas faire?

Where are you going on holiday this year? With who? What will you do?

Cette annee, je vais aller en Islande avec mes amis de l’ecole pour un voyage scolaire. Je vais rester en hôtel de luxe pour cinq nuits en décembre. Je vais marcher sur la glaciers et je vais nager dans Le Lagon Bleu. Je suis impatient de aller et j’espere voir les aurores boréales.

This year, I am going to visit Iceland with my friends from school for a school trip. I am going to stay in a luxury hotel for 5 nights in December. I am going to walk on the glaciers and swim in the Blue Lagoon. I can’t wait to go and I hope to see the Northern Lights.
