•Preflight Inspection
•Thru Flight Inspection
•Post Flight Inspection
•Daily Inspections
•Scheduled/Unscheluled Maintenance within their capabilities
PMD
preventive maintenance daily
-required before the first scheduled flight of the day or after the last scheduled flight of the day
Aviation maintenance company primary mission
•Create combat power in support of the battalion/squadron mission
•Conducts phase maintenance
•Troubleshoots airframe and component malfunctions
•Performs maintenance and repair actions
•Removes and replaces aircraft components
•Performs maintenance test flights (MTFs) and Maintenance Operational Checks (MOCs)
quality control
is accountable directly to the commander, thereby eliminating potential conflicts of interest among the PC section, the maintenance shops, and the supported units
quality control missions
•Aircraft and component inspections
•Shop inspections
•Weight and balance
•Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE)
•Forms and records
•Maintaining reference library
•Aircraft historical records
•Time Before Overhaul (TBO) and Retirement Life Components (RC)
Production Control Section
manages maintenance production within the AMC/AMT to maximize maintenance resources.
Production Control Jobs
-Receives and processes work requests.
-Coordinates external support within the ASC.
-Coordinates, schedules, and prioritizes maintenance and shop workloads.
-Maintains the status of aircraft parts and shop reports.
-Materiel readiness.
-Coordinates inspections, MOCs, and MTFs.
-Returns repaired aircraft and equipment to supported units.

Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART)
Team is equipped, trained and rehearsed to accomplish aircraft recovery in various environments and conditions
Field Maintenance Team (FMT)
-enhance maintenance flexibility
COntrolled Exchange
Removal of serviceable parts from unserviceable, economically repairable equipment to restore a like item to a serviceable condition.
Condition Based Maintenance (CBM)
It is a maintenance strategy that uses the actual condition of the asset to decide what maintenance needs to be done. It dictates that maintenance should only be performed when certain indicators show decreasing performance or upcoming failure.
Army Oil Analysis Program (AOAP)
quick, efficient/effective way to monitor both the health of the equipment and lubricant
Tool Room Operations
-Consolidates tools into centralized effort
Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE)
Torque wrenches, testers, test sets, and other test equipment
