Treaty of Versailles(Brat) 1919

Blame - Germany

Reparations - Germany had to pay £6,600 million for the damage done during the war.

Army - Germany was forbidden to have submarines or an air force and also Germany was not allowed to place any troops in the Rhineland

Territory - Germany lost Territory (land) in Europe. Germany's colonies were given to Britain and France.

Munich Agreement

Sudetenland = German speaking area of Czechoslovakia on German border. Hitler wanted to invade and unite with them like austria. Munich Agreement held to formalise the handover of the Sudetenland to Germany. This was the end of appeasement for germany.
