The thesis statement clearly introduces the topic and informs the audience exactly what stance the author intends to take. The author does not challenge the current accepted stance but rather persuades the audience that their interpretation of the situation is viable.
Research thesis statement
The thesis statement is the final product of an involved process of research, critical thinking, source evaluation, organization, and composition. Primary and secondary sources are the heart of a research paper, and they provide nourishment with these sources.
