Right Pulmonary Artery
blood vessels
Right Pulmonary Veins
carry oxygenated blood from the right lung to the left atrium of the heart
Pulmonary Trunk
A blood vessel that carries deoxygenated blood from the right ventricle to the pulmonary arteries
Right Atrium
receives deoxygenated blood returning from the body and pumps it into the right ventricle to be sent to the lungs for oxygenation.
Pentricate Muscle
found in the wall of the right atrium of the heart
Tricuspid Valve
Helps with blood flow between the right atrium and the right ventricle
Right Ventricle
pumps deoxygenated blood into the pulmonary artery
Aorta
responsible for carrying oxygenated blood from the left ventricle to all the other organs and tissues throughout the body.
Left Pulmonary Artery
Carries oxygenated blood from the pulmonary trunk and transports it to the left lung
Left Atrium
receives oxygenated blood from the lungs and pumps it into the left ventricle
Left Pulmonary Veins
transport oxygenated blood from the lungs to the left atrium
Mitral Valve
Helps with oxygenated blood flow to the left ventricle
Aortic Semilunar Valve
Helps with blood flowing to the aorta
Left Ventricle
pump oxygenated blood to the body
Papillary Muscles
On the edges of the heart
Interventricular Septum
Makes sure that oxygenated and deoxygenated blood
