What are Lamarck’s and Darwin’s ideas of evolution and how do they compare?
Lamarck: Changes within an organism can pass onto their offspring (ex: giraffe stretches its neck over time and its offspring will be born with a longer neck naturally).
Darwin: "Natural selection." Organisms with traits that promote survival to reproductive age will flourish, while those who do not have those traits will not.
