The Middle English Period sees a huge transition in the language, culture, and life style in England.
What was most of the Middle English writings?
Religious in nature; however from about 1350s, secular literature began to rise. This period is home to the likes of Chaucer( father of literature), Thomas Malory, and Robert Henryson.
