Exodus

The Jewish feast that celebrates the Exodus.

Seder Meal

A special meal celebrated in remembrance of the Passover, when the angel of death "passed over" the Israelites' houses.

Last Supper

This was a Passover Meal.

The sacred meal in which Catholics remember God's saving acts.

God's liberation of the Hebrew people from slavery in Egypt and his leading them to the Promised Land.

Represents the blood of the lamb on the doorposts (10th Plague).

Represents the hurry to flee Egypt.

Represents the mortar or cement the Hebrew slaves used to make bricks.

Represents new life.

Pharaoh

The ruler of Egypt who made the Israelites slaves.

murder

The crime Moses committed.

Ten Plagues

What God sent to force Pharaoh to let his people go.

Egyptians

Drowned in the Red Sea while chasing after the Israelites.

Aaron

Moses' brother.

Pharaoh's daughter

She adopted Moses.

burning bush

What God talked through to Moses.

What God guided the Israelites with by night.
