Skull
The bony structure enclosing the brain.
Ball & Socket Joint
A type of joint that allows for multi-directional movement and rotation, such as the shoulder joint.
Humerus
The long bone in the upper arm or forelimb.
Fixed Joint
A joint that allows no movement, such as the parieto-temporal joint.
Vertebra
The individual segments of the spinal column.
Sternum
The flat bone located in the center of the chest, to which the ribs are attached.
Rib
One of the bones that encircle the chest.
Pelvis
The bony structure located at the base of the spine that supports the trunk and connects the legs.
Radius
One of the two long bones in the forearm, located on the thumb side.
Ulna
The bone in the forearm opposite the radius, which forms part of the elbow.
Femur
The thigh bone, the longest bone in the human body.
Hinge Joint
A type of joint that allows movement in one direction, such as the knee joint.
Fibula
The smaller of the two bones in the lower leg.
Tibia
The larger of the two bones in the lower leg.
