Paraphrase

Summarize

Give a brief statement of the main points of something.

Infer

Deduce or conclude information from evidence and reasoning rather than from clear statements.

Sentence Structure

The arrangement of words, phrases, and clauses in a sentence to create meaning and convey ideas.

Run-on Sentences

Occurs when two or more independent clauses are combined incorrectly in a single sentence, often with insufficient punctuation or conjunctions (ex: the cat jumped on the table it knocked over the vase).

Fragments

An incomplete sentence that lacks either a subject, a main verb, or a complete thought, and cannot stand alone as complete sentences (ex: because of the rain).

Correct/Complete Sentences

A sentence that has a subject, a verb, and an object.
