Bible

Gospel

Magisterium
The official teaching authority of the Catholic Church, consisting of the Pope and bishops.

The passion, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ.
Apostolic Succession
The uninterrupted transmission of spiritual authority from the Apostles through successive popes and bishops.
Parable
A simple story used to illustrate a moral or spiritual lesson, often featuring a surprise twist.
Miracle
An extraordinary event that demonstrates divine intervention in human affairs.
Divinity of Christ
The Christian belief that Jesus is both fully God and fully human.
Messiah
The anticipated savior and liberator of the Jewish people, fulfilled in Jesus according to Christian belief.
