What do Hinge joints allow the bones to do?
Allows to move it fowards and backwards
What do ball and socket joints allow for the bones to do?
Allows them to move in a circular motion
What do the Gliding allow for the bones to do?
Allows for them to slide past eachother.
Describe how muscle contraction leads to the movement of a bone.
Muscles are joined to bones by tendons. When a muscle contracts, it gets shorter and tighter. This pulls on the tendon, which pulls the bone and makes it move at a joint.
Muscles work in _______ Pairs
Antagonistic
