The division of powers distributes the power between federal, state and local governments.

Defence, immigration, currency and foreign affairs
State and Federal Government
Taxation, marriage, and education.
Local Governments
Manages community services and infrastructure such as roads, parks, and waste collection, and they are excluded from the Constitution.
