Interiority

Being willing to help others; aiding teachers; caring for the classroom as a second home.
Pioneerism
The drive to innovate and lead when others cannot; student leaders who take initiative.
Integrity
Sticking to one’s principles; honest self-awareness and honesty with others, even without external acknowledgment.
Reliability
Being dependable: fulfilling responsibilities to build trust among peers.
Excellence
Ability to complete academic tasks well and timely, prioritizing studies.
Holy Spirit
The Third Person of the Holy Trinity who proceeds from the Father and the Son; fully God and equal to the Father and the Son.
Pentecost
Descent of the Holy Spirit fifty days after Easter; Birth of the Church; ~3,000 people baptized.
Indefectibility
The Church will remain present on Earth until the end of time.
Infallibility
Authority of the Pope on matters of faith and morals (when defined as such).
Pope
Bishop of Rome; leader of the Catholic Church.
Saint Peter
The first leader and pope of the Church.
Spiritual gifts
Talents and abilities given by the Holy Spirit to Christians to serve the Church.
Wisdom
Gift that helps us see the world in its true light and value heavenly things.
Understanding
Gift that helps grasp the truths of the Catholic faith.
Counsel
Gift that helps us discern what is most for God’s glory and our salvation.
Knowledge
Gift that points out the path to follow and the dangers to avoid.
Fortitude
Gift that provides courage and strength to overcome obstacles.
Piety
Gift that fosters devotion and service to God.
Fear of the Lord
Gift that inspires reverence and avoidance of offending God.
Apostolic Age
Period from the Crucifixion to the Death of John; purity of early Christianity.
Didache
Teachings of the Apostle; early Christian instruction for communities.
Koinonia
Fellowship or voluntary sharing of goods among members.
Breaking of the Bread
Eucharist; the early form of the Eucharistic celebration.
Shema
Jewish prayer; recited in early Christian life.
