Dominant Narrative
The voices most heard or represented in a society, often shaping public view and influencing cultural norms and values
Counter Narrative
A perspective that challenges or contradicts the dominant narrative, often highlighting marginalized voices and alternative viewpoints.
Hegemony
The dominance of one group over others, often maintained through cultural institutions and social practices.
Normalization
The process by which certain ideas, behaviors, or practices become accepted as the norm in a society, often leading to the marginalization of alternatives.
Ethnocentrism
The belief in the superiority of one's own ethnic group or culture, often resulting in prejudice against other groups.
