‒ Whether an intervention, treatment approach, &/or modality is appropriate for or effective with a particular population

‒ Why interventon outcomes differ in a population

‒ How an intervention outcome may be improved for a particular group

‒ Consider the broader contexts individuals live in & how public policies affect people, groups, populations

‒ Ways in which the investigators will approach knowledge discovery

‒ Looks for terms such as aim, purpose/objective, goal
