A process used for planning, creating, testing, and deploying information systems.
Stakeholder
An entity that has an interest in the software engineering process, including those who are involved, interested, and affected.
Work Product
Tangible outputs of a project such as documents and systems.
Project Management Lifecycle
A series of processes that guide a project from initiation to closing.
Methodology
A collection of methods used in software development.
Procedure
A combination of a method and tool to develop software rationally and timely.
Constraint
Expectation from the system that limits options, often referred to as nonfunctional requirements.
Activity
Sets of tasks that lead towards a major goal in a project.
Risk Management
The process of identifying, assessing, and controlling risks that could impact a project.
