tunnel ahead : tunnel ahead

vehicles carrying dangerous goods : no dangerous goods allowed

green arrow : lane is open for use

flashing amber cross : obstruction ahead

red cross : lane is closed

parallel broken white lines : traffic approaching must give way to major road

single white line : driver stop close and before the line

parallel white lines : indicates pedestrian crossing. must give way to pedestrian

parallel dashed/white solid lines : designated crossing, turning vehicles must give way to pedestrian

raised zebra crossing : slow down and stop for pedestrians, beware of hump

pedestrian ahead marker : warning of zebra crossing ahead

traffic calming marker : visually narrowed road to encourage slow down

broken white line : centre of two way road, keep left. parking is allowed on both sides of the road but cannot cause danger

continuous white line : vehicles should keep left. parking is not allowed on both sides of the road, overtaking, u turning allowed

parallel white line: no parking allowed on both sides of the road. stay within your lane only.

continuous yellow line: stop briefly to pick up/drop off. no parking between 7AM-7PM except sundays and PH

parallel yellow line: stop briefly to pickup/drop off. no parking allowed

single yellow zigzag line: stop briefly to pickup/drop off. no parking allowed

double yellow zigzag line: no stopping, no parking

single broken line: edge of a road merging before accelerating into expressway

single broken line: edge of a road splitting into a turn/decelerating to exiting an expressway

chevron marking: not allowed to drive over marking. shows splitting of lanes

white zigzag line: advance warning of incoming pedestrian crossing

Giveway triangle: must give way to traffic on major road

right-turn pocket: vehicles turning right must stay within the pocket until turning

direction arrows: shows the direction which the vehicle can travel to

merging arrows: shows vehicles in advance that lane is merging
