Intuition
An automatic sense / gut feeling from our minds
Hindsight Bias
The tendency to believe that we knew an event or thing will occur. “I knew it all along.” It’s not accurate for predictions, but reflects on what we’re familiar with.
Critical Thinking
Does not accept things at face value, but rather evaluates where a conclusion was found, the evidence/sources, identifies possible biases, and the author/person’s agenda/values.
Theory
Broad explanation/statement of phenomena that summarizes observations and predicts events or behaviors.
Hypothesis
A testable prediction, usually implied by theories. These specify what disapproves or proves the theory.
Operational Definitions

Replication
The ability to conduct an experiment with a different test group to either achieve the same base results or weaken the findings.
Scientific Attitude
