Hyperbole
Deliberate exaggeration for emphasis or humorous effect.

Epiphora

A rising sequence; increasing intensity or importance in a list or argument.

A comparison showing similarities between two different things.

Repetition of consonant sounds at the beginnings of nearby words.

Repetition of vowel sounds within nearby words.

Onomatopoeia
A word that imitates the natural sound associated with its meaning.
Rhyme
Words with matching sounds, especially at the ends of lines.

Directly addressing an absent or imagined listener or abstract idea.
Rhetorical question
A question asked for effect with no expected answer.
