First Law of Motion
An object stays at rest or moves at constant velocity unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.
Second Law of Motion
The acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the net force acting on it and inversely proportional to its mass.
Third Law of Motion
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Terminal Velocity
gravity and air resistance are equal
Gravity
An attraction force between any two objects that depends on the mass of the objects and the distance between them.
Weight
The gravitational force exerted on an object, calculated by F*g = m * g.
Mass
the amount of matter in an object
Inertia
objects resistant change in motion
Law of Universal Gravitation
All matter in the universe is attracted to all other matter, calculated by F = G(m1 * m2) / d^2.
Centripetal Force
The force that pulls an object toward the center of a circular path.
