Sarcasm

aims to personally mock/insult someone; a form of verbal irony.

Caricature

takes a particular aspect of a subject and exaggerates it to create a comedic effect. Often in drawings.

Folly

foolish or senseless behaviour.

Vice

immoral or wicked behaviour or personal characteristic.

Incongruity

the fact of being strange and not suitable in a situation.

Juxtaposition

putting together a person, concept, theme, etc. with something else to highlight the contrast between them.

Travesty

a false, absurd, or distorted representation of something.

Understatement

make a situation seem less important than it really is.

Hyperbole

exaggerating something so much that it becomes ridiculous.

Oxymoron

opposite words put together: extremely small, living dead.
