where retina merges together to make the optic nerve/ no photoreceptors/ this is the blind spot
Path of light
light enters eye, goes through the retina and bounce off the back wall
Bipolar and Ganglion
these 2 types of nerve cells work together to gather the image and send it to the brain
Rods (Photoreceptor)
night vision/ no color vision
Cones (Photoreceptor)
color vision/ 3 types: blue, red, green
