What is the warm-up training principle?
A period of light activity before a workout to gradually increase heart rate, blood flow to muscles, and body temperature to prevent injury.
What is the cool-down training principle?
A period of low intensity exercise after a workout to help the heart rate return to resting levels and reduce muscle soreness. Â
What is the specificity training principle?
Training should be relevant and appropriate to the sport or goal for which the individual is training in order to produce the desired effect.
What is the overload training principle?
To improve fitness, the body must be stressed or worked at a greater level than it is normally accustomed to.
What is the progression training principle?
The gradual increase in “overload” over time in order to continue seeing improvements.
What is the reversibility training principle?
Any physical gains made through training will be lost if the training is stopped or significantly reduced.

Ability of your heart and lungs to deliver oxygen to the body for an extended amount of time.

What tests and questions are typical during a Physical Exam?Â
Vital signs (height, weight, etc.), physical assessment, and sometimes urinary tests or heart scans.
They may ask questions about your mental health, medical history, medications, and more.
What is the difference between an Ophthalmologist and an Optometrist?Â
An ophthalmologist is a medical doctor who specializes in eye and vision care. They are trained to perform eye surgery.
An optometrist is a healthcare professional who provides primary vision care, including eye exams, vision tests, and prescribing glasses.
What is Myopia?Â
Nearsightedness - Can only see up close objects clearly and objects further away are blurry.
What is Hyperopia?
Farsightedness - Distant objects are seen clearly, while close objects are blurry
How do you know if you possibly have Conjunctivitis?
Pink eye
If there is redness in the white of the eye or inner eyelid, increased tearing or discharge, itchy or scratchy, or swelling.
Explain the differences between Hearing Aids and Cochlear Implants.Â
Hearing aids are removable electronic devices that amplify sound. They are typically used for mild to severe hearing loss.
Cochlear implants are surgically implanted devices that directly stimulate the auditory nerve. They are used for people with profound hearing loss and would receive little benefit from a hearing aid.

You can get enough by brushing with fluoride toothpaste twice a day and getting professional fluoride treatment at the dentist.
Why are mouthguards recommended during contact sports?Â
They act as a buffer to absorb the force of impacts in sports. They help prevent broken teeth, cut lips, and other injuries to the mouth, gums, and jaw.
