What are two reasons why the relationship changed between England and their American colonies following the French and Indian War?

Britain became more "active" in the political and economic situation of the colonies by enforcing laws and imposing unfair taxes, turning the colonists' attitude from one of tolerance to one of resentment.  The Americans also learned that the British were not an immovable military force, they realized they were human due to early loses.

What were two reasons why the colonies were able to defeat England in the Revolutionary War?

Their alliance with France was a major gamechanger in the war. England did not have another country backing it.  Perhaps the single most important reason for the patriot victory was the extent of popular support for the Revolution. The Revolution would have failed miserably without the participation of thousands of ordinary farmers, artisans, and laborers who put themselves into the line of fire.
