Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum

contains ribosomes ,considered the protein highway 

Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum

aids in the building of lipid molecules

Golgi Apparatus

modifies, stores and re-routes protein to its next destination

Mitochondria

cite of cellular respiration, powerhouse of the cell

found in animal cells, aids in the process of cell division

part of cytoskeleton, provides structure in the cell

Vacuole

stores undigested nutrients, sometimes act as a pump to ride the cell of excess water

Cilia

made of protein and, extension of cytoplasm that allows for movement of the cell

Cell Wall

only found in plant cells, protects and supports the cell

Chloroplast

contains chlorophyll, considered the photosynthetic organelle of the cell
