The pointed inferior tip of the heart, directed toward the left

The thick, muscular middle layer responsible for pumping

The right upper chamber; receives deoxygenated blood from the body

The left upper chamber; receives oxygenated blood from the lungs

The right lower chamber; pumps deoxygenated blood to the lungs

The left lower chamber; pumps oxygenated blood to the body

The muscular wall separating the right and left atria
