Scalar Quantity
Are quantities that have only magnitude (size). Example: Speed , time, mass
Vector Quantity
Has both magnitude (size) and direction.
Example: Velocity, acceleration, force
Arrow Head
Indicates the direction of the vector
Tail
represent the origin of the vector.
Length
represent the magnitude of the vector
Parallelogram Method
Is useful in adding two vectors, known as the tail-to-tail method.
Polygon Method
Is used to add more than two vectors, known as head-to-tail-method.
