circle
The set of all points equidistant from a center point

line segment
The set of all points on a straight line with two endpoints

radius
line segment which connects the center of a circle to its circumference

parallel
Two or more lines in the same plane that are at equal distance from each other and never meet

conjecture
A reasonable guess that you are trying to either prove or disprove

congruent
Figures in Geometry that are the same shape and same size

midpoint
The point equidistant from two endpoints on a straight line

perpendicular
lines that meet at 90 degree (right) angles

angle bisector
The line passing through the vertex of an angle that divides it into two smaller congruent angles

perpendicular bisector
The line intersecting a segment at its midpoint and creates 90 degree (right) angles

inscribed
A figure fully enclosed within another figure whose vertices all exist on the other shape

regular polygon
A closed figure with all straight congruent sides and all angles congruent

construction
The process in Geometry of creating figures and diagrams using a straightedge and compass (to draw circles & arc marks) without the use of numerical measurements
