Displacment/Change in Time
What are the 3 ways in which acceleration can change?
Increasing Speed, Decreasing Speed, Changing Direction
What is the difference between positive and negative acceleration?
Positive acceleration is increasing in the positive direction. Negative acceleration is decreasing or moving in the opposite direction.
Distance vs. Time Graph
Slope = Speed.
Steeper slope = Higher speed.
Horizontal line = Object at rest.
Speed vs. Time Graph
Slope = Acceleration.
Steeper slope = Greater acceleration.
Horizontal line = Constant speed (no acceleration).
Area under the curve = Distance traveled.
