What are the advantages of using volunteers?
They are free.
They are motivated, enthusiastic so are easier to manage and work with.
They are often from the local area so are flexible and able to work at short notice.

What are the disadvantages of using volunteers
May need lots of training which requires staff and time.
Lack experience in running events.
Not paid or contracted so could easily drop out or miss days.
