Out-group Homogeneity Effect
Bias towards others outside one’s own group, favoring one’s group over another.
Stereotype Threat
Occurrence where individuals fear confirming negative stereotypes about their social group, impacting performance.
Actor-Observer Bias
Attributing one’s own situation in a high favor of self-serving perception.
Attribution
Includes 1. Locus of Control (External vs. Internal), 2. Stability (Stable vs. Unstable), and 3. Control Ability (Controllable vs. Uncontrollable).
Diffusion of Responsibility
Each bystander is persuaded that someone else will respond to the emergency.
