If you want Word headings and styles to be converted to bookmarks in
Acrobat, select them for conversion in the Acrobat PDFMaker dialog box
in Word for Windows. In Microsoft Word, click Preferences in the
Acrobat ribbon (choose Adobe PDF > Change Conversion Settings in
earlier versions of Word), and click the Bookmarks tab. Make sure that
the required headings and styles are selected.
