Current

The flow of charge. Symbol is i. Measured with ammeter in Amps. i=V/R

Voltage (Potential Difference)

The push to move electrons around a circuit. Symbol is V. Measured with
voltmeter in Volts. V=Rxi

Resistance

Opposes the flow of charge. Symbol is R. Measured with ohmmeter in Ohms. R=V/i

Ohm's Law

Voltage is directly proportional to current

Series Circuit

Where two bulbs are connected one after another. All current from battery goes through both bulbs

Advantage of Series Circuit

Uses less electricity

Disadvantage of Series Circuit

If one bulb blows then the circuit is broke, and no current flows

Parallel Circuit

circuit that has branches that divide the current so that only a part of it goes through each branch

Advantage of Parallel Circuit

If one bulb blows the other bulb will remain lit as a complete circuit

Disadvantage of Parallel Circuit

Uses more electricity
